I have to defend here – hailing from the midwest as well and not knowing jack about putting snow chains on….

We all hail from the FLAT midwest where snow chains are not really necessary, and unlike ’some’ areas of the country Wisconsin and Michigan folk KNOW how to drive in snow!!
